Caps, belts, socks and scarves from LitBuy sheets: what each adds to a parcel and what it costs

Last updated .

Short answer: Accessory rows are cheap to buy and expensive to ship alone, so the useful question is what they add to a parcel that already exists. Our estimated weights are 0.15 kg for a cap, 0.25 kg for a belt and 0.10 kg for socks. A hypothetical cap alone costs about €30.19 delivered to Germany, while four accessories together come to €62.02, calculated on 27 October 2026.

Four accessories in one parcel, against four parcels

Accessories are the clearest case for sharing a shipment. We ran LitBuy's estimator on 27 October 2026 for LIT-Economy-DHL-DE and read its all-in prices, which include the EU tariff prepayment: €23.08 up to 500 g, €30.42 up to 1 kg and €45.09 up to 2 kg. Item prices below are hypothetical and converted at LitBuy's display rate ¥1 ≈ €0.158, a rate higher than typical bank rates. Weights are our estimates from the library, not weighings.

Cap ¥45, belt ¥60, socks ¥25, scarf ¥70

Cap alone: ¥45 × 0.158 = €7.11 + €23.08 (500 g band)€30.19

Belt alone: ¥60 × 0.158 = €9.48 + €23.08€32.56

Socks alone: ¥25 × 0.158 = €3.95 + €23.08€27.03

Scarf alone: ¥70 × 0.158 = €11.06 + €23.08€34.14

Four separate parcels€123.92

Together: ¥200 × 0.158 = €31.60 + €30.42 (est. 0.65 kg, 1 kg band)€62.02

Saved by one parcel€61.90

That is €15.51 per item delivered, against €27.03 to €34.14 each alone. LitBuy prepays shipping on the estimated weight, then recalculates after packing, so the real number can move by a few euros. The landed price calculator lets you test your own rows, and the combine parcels guide explains how bands work.

One 0.65 kg parcel costs half of what four single orders cost.

What the accessory grid holds

The grid above comes from the 10,000+ product catalogue behind this site, filtered for caps, belts, socks and sunglasses. The table sorts the common types by weight. Example prices are hypothetical, so use them to compare types, not to judge a real seller.

Accessory types: example price, estimated weight and total alone to Germany
TypeExample priceEst. kgAlone to DE (€)Check first
Baseball cap¥450.15€30.19Crown stiffness, strap closure
Bucket hat¥400.15 (as cap)€29.40Brim width, stitching rows
Belt¥600.25€32.56Length in cm, buckle weight
Crew socks¥250.10€27.03Pack size, fibre content
Knit scarf¥700.15€34.14Fibre words, length
Sunglasses¥80not in our listuse estimatorHinge photo, lens marks

Every row with a weight listed above sits in the 500 g band when it ships alone, which is why the postage is nearly identical for a ¥25 pair of socks and a ¥70 scarf.

Alone, the type barely changes the postage; together, the weights do.

Reading size and fabric words on accessory listings

Belts are the accessory where size matters most. Chinese listings give the belt length in cm, usually the full length including buckle, and sometimes a fitted range. The number to compare is the distance from the buckle's fold to the hole you use, so measure your own belt that way and match it. The size converter covers clothing sizes and the Chinese measurements guide shows how to read cm figures.

For socks, look for 双 (pair) and the pack count: "5双装" means five pairs. Scarves state 长 and 宽 in cm and a fibre such as 羊毛 (wool), 羊绒 (cashmere) or 腈纶 (acrylic). Treat fibre words as the seller's claim, since LitBuy says it cannot verify quality or authenticity. For sunglasses, watch for 偏光 (polarised) and UV400 as seller words.

Match the belt by length to the hole you use, and take fibre words as claims.

Packing and photos for soft and bendable rows

Caps and hats dent; belts curl; glasses scratch. LitBuy's routine QC photos generally number three to six, with extras at ¥1 each, so spend the extras where damage hides.

  1. Cap crown. Ask for a side photo to see whether the crown holds its shape.
  2. Belt holes. One close-up of the hole edges and the buckle back.
  3. Glasses. A photo of the lenses against white paper shows scratches.
  4. Counts. LitBuy checks quantity, so confirm the pair or pack count matches the listing.

Pay the ¥1 for a crown or lens photo; it is the cheapest check on this page.

Country note: Kappe, ceinture, belt

German buyers search for "Kappen", "Gürtel" and "Socken" next to the sheet name; French buyers type "casquette" or "ceinture". The rows are identical, and only the line changes the number. For 500 g, the German LIT-Economy-DHL-DE line read €23.08 all-in on 27 October 2026. Austria's SSF-DHL-AT-1 line was €29.29 at 500 g, and France's LIT-Quickly-GOFO-FR line was €23.54.

In the UK, the 500 g reading on FF-Royalmail-GB-1 was £11.06, labelled tax free, and the US ZF-GOFO-US-1 line was $25.55 for 500 g. Customs rules differ by market (EU import VAT from the first euro, UK VAT collected at the point of sale up to £135), so check the total at checkout instead of adding numbers across countries.

Light accessories fit the 500 g band in every market we read; the band price is what differs.

Where accessory rows sit, and what is restricted

Accessories are the add-on rows of any LitBuy spreadsheet, often found among the extra rows of a haul-tracker sheet; the Reddit sources page describes how those sheets are laid out. Related categories: bags and backpacks, jewelry and watches.

Restricted items in LitBuy's embargo clause (read 27 October 2026) include tobacco, alcohol, knives and blades and magnetic components, so a belt with a blade buckle or a magnetic clasp is a question for support first. For Germany, a mixed parcel with accessories follows the same DHL line rules as clothing. No LitBuy account? Send the row to us via the WhatsApp QR on the contact page at our scan steps: one delivered price, photos before dispatch, pay per order.

Ask support before buying any accessory with a blade or magnet.

Accessory questions from buyers

Is it worth ordering a single cap on its own?

Rarely. A hypothetical ¥45 cap costs €7.11 as an item, but shipped alone to Germany on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE it totals €30.19 because the 500 g band costs €23.08 all-in (27 October 2026). The postage is over three times the cap. Put it in a parcel with something you already want, or pair it with other light rows.

What size cap should I pick from a Chinese listing?

Many caps are adjustable and sold in one size, shown as 可调节. Where the listing gives head circumference, it is in cm. Measure your head with a soft tape just above the ears and eyebrows, then compare. A fitted cap with a stated cm size is safer than a guess.

How do I stop caps from arriving crushed?

LitBuy does not publish a protective-packing option for caps, so accept that a structured crown may bend. Soft bucket hats cope better, and a flat belt or pair of socks is no problem. A cap in a shared parcel costs only its item price while the parcel stays inside its weight band. Routine QC photos, generally three to six, show the cap before dispatch, and one extra photo of the crown costs ¥1.

Can I ship sunglasses through LitBuy?

Yes, they are ordinary goods and are not on LitBuy's prohibited list we read on 27 October 2026. Our weight list has no sunglasses entry, so use the estimator for the real figure. Check lens marks and hinge photos before dispatch, because LitBuy checks quantity, colour, size and visible damage, not optical quality or UV rating.

Which accessories are lightest per euro of postage?

Socks, at an estimated 0.10 kg a pair, and scarves and caps at 0.15 kg. Four items totalling about 0.65 kg fit inside the 1,000 g band at €30.42 all-in, so each added item mostly costs its own price. A belt at 0.25 kg is the heaviest of the common four, but still light.

Do accessories change anything for the UK or US?

The weight bands are the same idea, the numbers differ. On 27 October 2026 LitBuy's FF-Royalmail-GB-1 line showed £11.06 for 500 g and £16.83 for 1 kg, and ZF-GOFO-US-1 showed $25.55 and $41.17. Neither line showed a tariff prepayment. A four-accessory parcel at 0.65 kg uses the 1 kg figure on each.
