Children's rows on LitBuy sheets: how height sizes like 110 and 120 work and what a light parcel costs

Last updated .

Short answer: On Chinese children's listings, a number such as 110 or 120 usually means the child's height in centimetres, not an age, so measure your child and pick the closest size with a little growing room. Kids' items are light: we plan with an estimated 0.30 kg each, so three items fit one 1,000 g parcel. Three items of ¥195 in total come to €61.23 to Germany (27 Oct 2026).

Height sizes: how a Chinese children's size ladder usually runs

Chinese kids' clothing is usually sized by height. A listing that offers 100, 110, 120, 130 and 140 is offering clothes for children of roughly that many centimetres tall. The seller's chart then adds chest, length and sometimes waist, all in centimetres. That chart is the real answer; the label is only a shortcut.

  • 90–100: toddlers, usually roughly two to four years old.
  • 110–120: pre-school and early school age, usually roughly five to seven.
  • 130–140: primary school, usually roughly eight to ten.
  • 150–160: older children and slim teens, where sizes start to meet adult S.

The age bands are approximate and vary by seller. Measure your child barefoot, then check chest width and length on the seller's chart. Our Chinese size chart guide and the size converter explain the cm columns, and a downloadable size chart CSV is free.

Pick the size by measured height and garment width in cm, never by the age printed beside it.

Seven kids' row types, with estimated weight and cost alone

Children's items are small, which makes this the easiest category for filling a weight band. All weights below are our planning assumption of 0.30 kg per kids' item, not measurements. Prices are example spans, converted at LitBuy's displayed rate of ¥1 ≈ €0.158 (27 Oct 2026), a rate higher than typical bank rates. The last column is a hypothetical mid-price item shipped alone to Germany: item × 0.158 plus €23.08, the all-in 500 g price on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE.

Padded jackets and boxed trainers weigh more than 0.30 kg in real life, but we have no sourced figure for kids' versions, so treat those rows as a floor and use the estimator for the real band.

Single kids' items pay €23.08 of shipping for a few hundred grams, so shared parcels matter most here.

Three items together instead of three parcels

The weight bands come from LitBuy's estimator on 27 October 2026 for Germany (LIT-Economy-DHL-DE, 10–15 working days). The all-in totals include the ¥40 EU tariff prepayment per parcel, which is why each separate parcel carries it again.

Tee set, hoodie and joggers (¥50, ¥80, ¥65) to Germany

Tee set alone: ¥50 × 0.158 + €23.08€30.98

Hoodie alone: ¥80 × 0.158 + €23.08€35.72

Joggers alone: ¥65 × 0.158 + €23.08€33.35

Three parcels, added up€100.05

Items together: ¥195 × 0.158€30.81

One parcel, est. 0.90 kg: 1,000 g band all-in€30.42

Total, one shared parcel€61.23

Sharing saves €38.82. A fourth item at ¥90 lifts the estimate to 1.2 kg and the total to €90.12 (¥285 × 0.158 = €45.03, plus €45.09). For the UK, LitBuy's 1 kg price was £16.83 on FF-Royalmail-GB-1, and for the US $41.17 on ZF-GOFO-US-1 (27 Oct); a US parent would add ¥195 × 0.177 = $34.52 for the same three items. See the full model in the landed price calculator.

Three kids' items in one parcel cost €38.82 less than three separate parcels.

Growth room, seasons and re-ordering

Children outgrow clothes in a season, so buy the size they need next month, not the size that fits today. A hoodie one size up costs the same shipping, while a missed size means another €23.08 parcel. Buy trousers and jackets in the larger size and shorts and tees in the closer fit.

Seasons matter for timing: LitBuy states seller-to-warehouse time of about three to five days and parcels leaving within one to three business days of processing, plus 10–15 working days on the economy Germany line. Order winter wear in September, not in December. For padded jackets, see winter jackets; for sets, tracksuits.

Order for the next size up and the next season, and let the parcel fill with it.

What to look at in the QC photos, and the safety questions LitBuy does not answer

LitBuy opens the parcel and checks quantity, colour, size and visible damage, usually with three to six photos. Extra photos cost ¥1 each. The ¥7 20-second video is for footwear only, so it fits kids' trainers. Colour differences and wear are not covered by LitBuy's checks.

  1. Ask for a flat-lay photo next to a ruler, then compare chest width and length with the chart.
  2. Ask for a close-up of any drawstring, cord, zip pull or small decoration.
  3. Ask for the inside label, to see the fabric text and the size print.
  4. For trainers, ask for the sole and the video, then compare insole length with your child's foot.

LitBuy says it cannot verify quality or authenticity, so safety marks and loose parts are for you to read. The QC photo guide covers the routine set.

Ask for a ruler photo and a close-up of any cord before the parcel leaves.

Where kids' tabs come from, and a route for non-account buyers

Kids' tabs often sit inside Reddit-shared sheets and creator link pages. Pair kids' rows with light add-ons such as socks, or match a child's items to a parent's from women's rows. Without a LitBuy account, you can send a kids' row through the WhatsApp QR on the contact page and get one delivered price with photos before dispatch. The LitBuy spreadsheet library holds the other categories.

Fill one parcel with several children's rows, then check every size in cm.

FAQ

What size should I pick if a listing says 120?

Usually 120 means the child is about 120 cm tall, so measure your child barefoot against a wall and choose the listed size nearest to that height. If the child sits between two sizes, take the larger one for trousers and hoodies. The seller's own chart in centimetres overrides any general rule, so compare chest and length against a garment your child already wears.

Are age labels on Chinese kids' clothes reliable?

Treat them as a rough guide only. Many listings print an age next to the height size, but bodies differ and brands cut differently. The height number and the garment measurements in centimetres are the figures to trust. If a listing shows only an age, ask the seller in chat for chest width and total length before you add the row.

How many kids' items fit in one parcel?

At an estimated 0.30 kg each, three kids' items weigh about 0.90 kg and fit LitBuy's 1,000 g band, which cost €30.42 all-in to Germany on 27 October 2026. A fourth item takes the parcel to 1.2 kg and the 2,000 g band at €45.09, so three or six items tend to be the efficient counts.

Does LitBuy check that children's clothes are safe?

No. LitBuy says on its product pages that it cannot verify quality or authenticity, and its quality check covers quantity, colour, size and visible damage. Safety details such as drawstrings, small buttons or loose trims are yours to read in the listing and QC photos. Ask for a close-up photo of any cord, zip pull or decoration.

Can I return children's clothes that turn out too small?

Before the parcel ships abroad, LitBuy's help centre allows returns within 120 hours of the item being warehoused, if the seller accepts, and you pay the domestic shipping legs plus ¥5. After dispatch that route closes. Check the size in the QC photos with a tape measure comparison the day they arrive, not when the parcel lands.

Do children's trainers need a separate size check?

Yes. Shoe sizes on Chinese kids' listings often show the insole length in millimetres or centimetres, not a European number. Measure your child's foot, add about one centimetre of room, and compare it with the insole length. Footwear is the one category where LitBuy offers a 20-second QC video, priced at ¥7.
