An album is a catalogue, not a shop
Yupoo is a photo-hosting service that many Chinese sellers use as a catalogue. One album holds the pictures of one item or one collection, with a title and sometimes a short caption. It has no basket, no price field you can rely on and no checkout. The seller sells somewhere else, usually on Weidian or Taobao, and uses the album as a showroom. That is why searches such as "yupoo litbuy" lead people to ask the same question: how does an album become an order?
LitBuy buys from Taobao, Weidian and 1688 links, and JD links map to a product page too (help centre, read 19 October 2026). Yupoo albums are not on that list; they go through Fill & Buy. Our sheet directory explains where Yupoo sits among the other sources, and this page is the practical route from one album to one order.
Find the shop behind the album first; use Fill & Buy only when you cannot.
Two routes from an album to LitBuy
| Route | What you need | What LitBuy does | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weidian or Taobao listing | Shop name or link, then the item ID | Normal product page, litbuy.com/product/2/<id> for Weidian | Listing may differ from the album photos |
| Fill & Buy | Item details entered by hand | Buys from other sources via litbuy.com/diy-order | Extra service fee possible; no no-reason returns |
The first route is better in every way you can measure: the page shows price, options and a seller shipment estimate, and the link converter builds the address from the ID. The second is a fallback. LitBuy says on its product pages that it provides search, purchasing and forwarding only and cannot verify quality or authenticity, and for Fill & Buy that statement is stronger still.
A normal product link beats Fill & Buy whenever you can find one.
How to find the listing behind an album, step by step
- Read the album page. Check the title, caption, tags and the seller's profile for a shop name, a Weidian address or a QR code.
- Search the shop name on Weidian. Open the shop and scroll its items for the same photos.
- Match the photos, not the title. Album and listing titles often differ; compare colours, labels and cuts.
- Copy the item ID. On Weidian it follows
itemID=; rebuild the address aslitbuy.com/product/2/<id>. - If nothing matches, use image search. Search the main photo on the marketplace app, or ask for a W2C reply (see the W2C guide).
When the shop name is missing, the find-similar-item guide explains how to match an item by image and store. If the item is dead, the dead-links guide has the fixes.
Match the photos on the shop page before you trust the listing title.
Worked example: a ¥110 pair of shoes found in an album
The price is hypothetical, converted at LitBuy's display rate of ¥1 ≈ €0.158 (27 October 2026), higher than typical bank rates. Boxed shoes are estimated at 1.30 kg, so they land in the 2,000 g band; the LIT-Economy-DHL-DE all-in price for 2 kg to Germany was €45.09 that day. Shoe boxes are often removed at the warehouse unless you ask to keep them, which can drop the weight. Footwear also gets the optional ¥7 shoe video, about €1.11 at the display rate.
One ¥110 pair of shoes, listing found from an album
Item: ¥110 × 0.158€17.38
Est. 1.30 kg, 2,000 g band, LIT-Economy-DHL-DE all-in€45.09
Landed in Germany€62.47
Optional ¥7 shoe video+€1.11
With the shoe video€63.58
The shoes page explains the size system and why boxes matter. If you buy through Fill & Buy, add the service fee shown on the form; LitBuy does not publish a figure in the pages we read.
Cost the shoes with and without the box before you pick a weight band.
When one album has many items
Sellers often post a whole collection in one album, with each picture a different colour or size of the same style. The matching Weidian shop then has either one item with many style options or several separate items. Open the shop and count: LitBuy's product page lists style and size options for a single item, and picking the wrong style is an easy slip. Write down which photo number matches which option before you add it to your list.
If the same shop sells several things you want, put them in one parcel. The combine-parcels guide shows why a shared weight band lowers the cost per item.
Map each photo to a style option before you order.
One neutral note on customs
Albums often show goods that carry well-known marks. Customs may detain goods suspected of infringing trademarks; for the EU that is Regulation 608/2013, and French customs treats importing such goods as an offence with confiscation and fines (douane.gouv.fr). LitBuy's forwarding page asks you to declare the value truthfully, and trademark-infringing goods appear on its restricted-items clause. Choose items for what they are, and leave out anything that carries another company's protected marks. The Germany page and the France page list the lines and rules in one place.
Check what an item is before you check what it costs.
Photos to ask for on an album-sourced item
Album pictures are the seller's own, so lighting and editing flatter the item. Routine QC after arrival is generally 3 to 6 photos, and custom shots cost ¥1 each. Ask for the label, the sole or hem, and one measurement against a ruler. The QC finder lists where real photos come from before you buy. Without a LitBuy account? Scan the WhatsApp QR on the contact page and send us the row; you receive one delivered price and photos before dispatch, and you pay per order.
An album is a reason to look, not a reason to order.
FAQ
Can LitBuy buy straight from a Yupoo album?
Not through the normal product-link route. LitBuy's help describes Yupoo albums among sources that go through Fill & Buy at litbuy.com/diy-order, where you enter the details yourself. An extra service fee is possible, there are no no-reason returns, and LitBuy says it cannot verify quality or authenticity for items from such sources. A Weidian or Taobao link is the simpler route.
How do I find the Weidian listing that matches a Yupoo album?
Look in the album description or the seller's profile page for a shop name, a Weidian address or a QR code. Some albums add the store name in their caption. Search that name on Weidian, then match the photos and titles to a listing and take the item ID. If nothing is stated, use image search on the marketplace app.
Why does a Yupoo album show no price?
Yupoo is a photo host, so albums usually carry a title and pictures, not a checkout. The seller shows prices on the shop or in messages. Until you reach a Weidian or Taobao item page with a price, you cannot cost the item, and the price on LitBuy's page may differ by 1 to 3% from what any other page showed.
Is a Yupoo item a risk at customs?
It can be, depending on what the item is. Customs authorities may detain goods suspected of infringing trademarks, for example under EU Regulation 608/2013, and French customs treats importing trademark-infringing goods as an offence with confiscation and fines (douane.gouv.fr). LitBuy's forwarding page asks you to declare the value truthfully. Check what you are buying before you pay.
What does Fill & Buy cost compared with a normal link?
LitBuy does not publish a fixed figure for the service fee in our sources; it says an extra service fee is possible. The shipping part is the same estimator price, for example €30.42 all-in for 1 kg to Germany on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE on 27 October 2026. Read the fee shown at the Fill & Buy form before you submit.
How many photos should I expect from QC on a Yupoo-sourced item?
Routine QC is generally 3 to 6 photos after your item reaches LitBuy's Xiamen warehouse, with extra custom photos at ¥1 each and a ¥7 shoe video for footwear. Album photos are the seller's own and may be edited, so use them to choose an item, not to confirm it. Ask for measurements and a close-up of any detail you care about.
