Phone case rows on a LitBuy sheet: match the model name, then use the case as a 100 g filler

Last updated .

Short answer: A phone case row is only right if the model name in the Chinese title matches your phone exactly, including suffixes such as Pro or Max. We estimate 0.08 kg per case and plan with 100 g, which makes it a good filler: a hypothetical ¥25 case added to a parcel under the 1 kg band costs just its price, while a lone ¥25 case still costs about €27.03 delivered to Germany on 27 October 2026.

Matching the model name in a Chinese listing

The one thing that ruins a phone case order is a wrong model. Chinese listings write the model after 适用 or 适用于 ("fits"), often followed by a long list. Compare the full model name from your phone's settings, letter for letter, including suffixes: Pro, Plus, Max, Ultra, Mini. Each variant has its own size, camera cut-out and button positions.

Four words help you read the rest. 手机壳 is the phone case itself, 保护套 a protective cover, 防摔 shockproof, and 镜头 the camera lens area, sometimes 镜头全包 for full lens cover. Material words are 硅胶 (silicone), 透明 (clear), 皮 (leather) and 磁吸 (magnetic). Cases show their options as "styles" on LitBuy's product page, one per model or colour, so select the style that names your phone, not just a colour.

The size converter and Chinese measurements guide cover the other words you will meet on mixed sheets.

Match the model word by word, then pick the style that names it.

Six case types, with estimated grams and euro totals

The grid above shows rows from the 10,000+ product catalogue behind this site. The table uses hypothetical prices at LitBuy's display rate of ¥1 ≈ €0.158 (27 October 2026), which is higher than typical bank rates, and our estimated 0.08 kg per case. Alone to Germany means LIT-Economy-DHL-DE at the 500 g band, €23.08 all-in on 27 October 2026.

Phone case types: example price, estimated weight and total alone to Germany
TypeExample priceEst. kgAlone to DE (€)Check first
Clear case¥150.08€25.45Yellowing note, edge lip
Silicone case¥200.08€26.24Button cut-outs
Lanyard case¥250.08€27.03Strap anchor, port access
Magnetic ring case¥450.08€30.19Magnets: ask support first
Leather-look case¥600.08€32.56Stitching, lining feel
Card-holder wallet case¥700.08€34.14Slot size, may weigh more

A lone ¥20 case costs €3.16 as an item and €26.24 delivered, so about 88% of that order is postage. Three ¥20 cases together come to €32.56, which is €10.85 each.

One case alone is mostly postage; a few cases together are cheap.

The 100 g add-on: how many cases fit before the next band

We plan with 100 g per case, a little above the 80 g estimate, to leave margin for packing. The 1 kg band holds until 1,000 g, so a parcel at 0.75 kg has 250 g of room: two cases fit, a third tips it over. The example uses a hypothetical ¥200 hoodie (est. 0.75 kg) and ¥25 cases.

Hoodie ¥200 plus cases ¥25 each, Germany

Hoodie alone: ¥200 × 0.158 = €31.60 + €30.42 (1 kg band)€62.02

Hoodie + 2 cases: ¥250 × 0.158 = €39.50 + €30.42 (est. 0.95 kg)€69.92

Cost of the two cases (item price only)€7.90

Hoodie + 3 cases: ¥275 × 0.158 = €43.45 + €45.09 (est. 1.05 kg, 2 kg band)€88.54

Cost of the third case€18.62

The jump at the band edge is the lesson: the third ¥25 case costs €18.62 because it pushes the parcel into the 2 kg band. For the UK and US, the same bands on 27 October 2026 were £16.83 and £28.38 on FF-Royalmail-GB-1, and $41.17 and $72.41 on ZF-GOFO-US-1. Check your own weights in the landed price calculator, and read light add-ons under 200 g for other rows that fill the same gap.

Cases cost their price until the 1 kg line, then cost a whole band.

What the QC photos can and cannot show

LitBuy takes routine photos, generally three to six, and extras cost ¥1 each. LitBuy checks quantity, colour, size and specification; it cannot try the case on your phone. Ask for photos that show what matters for fit.

  1. Camera cut-out. Ask for a straight-on photo of the lens area.
  2. Port and button openings. A side photo shows whether openings are clean.
  3. The style label. If the packaging names a model, include it in the photo.
  4. Colour in daylight. Colour difference is not covered, so check against the listing.

Read the QC photos guide for when to ask for a retake.

Pay ¥1 for the lens-area photo; it shows fit faster than anything else.

Magnets and batteries: a short note

LitBuy's embargo text (read 27 October 2026) lists magnetic components as prohibited and says batteries may be removed from parcels. A plain silicone or clear case has neither, but magnetic ring cases, magnetic wallets and cases with a built-in battery are questions for support before you order. Do not assume a line will carry them.

Plain cases are straightforward; anything magnetic or powered needs support first.

Pairing cases with other rows, and where they come from

Cases pair with anything light. Try earbuds and small tech, jewelry or a tee; the combine parcels guide explains how LitBuy recalculates the chargeable weight after packing. Case rows turn up mostly in creator link pages; the TikTok sources page describes how they are laid out, and any such row can be rebuilt from its item ID as a LitBuy link.

German buyers search "Handyhülle" and French buyers "coque" beside the sheet name; the rows are the same and only the line and its price change. For the Germany lines, see the Germany page. No LitBuy account? Send the row to us via the WhatsApp QR on the contact page: one delivered price, photos before dispatch, pay per order.

Put cases in a parcel under 0.9 kg and they are almost free to ship.

Phone case questions

How do I find the right case for my exact phone model?

Copy the model name from your phone's settings and look for it after the word 适用 (fits) in the Chinese title. Match every part, including Pro, Plus, Max or Ultra, because sizes differ between variants. If the title lists many models, choose the option labelled with yours. If no option shows it, the row is not for your phone.

How much does a phone case weigh for shipping?

We plan with an estimated 0.08 kg per case, which is a planning figure, not a weighing, and round it up to 100 g for safety. A single case alone uses LitBuy's 500 g band, which was €23.08 all-in to Germany on 27 October 2026. Cases with wallets or rings may weigh more.

Can I add a phone case to a parcel for free?

Not free, but close. Under the 1 kg band, a case costs only its item price. A hypothetical ¥25 case is €3.95, and LitBuy's all-in price for the 1 kg band was €30.42 on 27 October 2026 whether the parcel is 0.7 kg or 0.95 kg. Past 1 kg the next band applies, so count your grams.

Why does the case listing show so many phone models?

Sellers list one product with many model options, shown as styles on LitBuy's product page. Each style is a different mould. Choose the style that names your phone before checking out, and confirm it in the order summary, because an unspecified style may default to the first option. If the style list shows no model names, only colours, message the seller or pick a different row.

Does LitBuy check that the case fits?

LitBuy checks quantity, colour, size and specification against what you ordered. If you chose the right model option, the warehouse can see the case matches it, but it cannot try the case on your phone. Extra photos cost ¥1 each, so ask for one showing the camera cut-out and port openings.

Are magnetic phone cases allowed?

LitBuy's restricted-items text we read on 27 October 2026 lists magnetic components among prohibited goods, and says batteries may be removed. A case with magnets in it could therefore be refused or held back. Plain silicone and clear cases do not raise this issue, but check the listing for any magnetic ring or built-in battery. Ask LitBuy support before ordering a magnetic ring or magnetic wallet case.
